      The best part is that neolibs usually use the global poor as defined by the World Bank, which is like less than $1,50 a day or something in that ballpark.

      The layers here to define not-poor as more than $1,50 a day and then accuse other people of not caring about poor people is too much for me to unpack.

      Neoliberalism helps the global poor - read the stats. It's not neoliberalism, it's China? Well, okay, but China is capitalist now. Well... not capitalist, because capitalism is democratic and for free trade, while China is protectionist and authoritarian. What we want is more democracy. Well... not more democracy, but...
