I hate them too. However, it's also easy to "fight" when your voters are totally satisfied if all you do is ensure bakers of their particular religion don't have to bake cakes for LGBT folks. Not to mention, conservatives always have the advantage of wanted to hold onto the status quo. It doesn't require any offense, just have to play defense.
