The best part about this pandemic is that if a way deadlier one happens within our lifetime, the majority will take it even less seriously because of survivor bias.
Yeah I can see this happening... It really fucks me up that even with the numbers getting thrown around, people just brush it off and forget that each of those numbers represents someone having to say "I love you" to someone for the last time.
