It can help you have perspective, one such perspective being, “maybe I shouldn’t wallow in misery and try my best to look on the bright side while we hurdle towards oblivion” and “maybe Bernie Sanders doesn’t think Neera fucking Tanden is worth fighting over” which if we’re being honest she really wasn’t, especially considering Joe Manchin sunk her anyway. He thought other things are more important than her and she’s wasn’t worth expending the political capital on a no vote. He’s right. I was explaining to someone why she is singled out as target of disdain for us as opposed to the other ghouls Biden is appointing.
