I swear every TV show now has the same 5 voice actors and every one is some posho, spoiled kid with liberal parents who live in some mansion. It drives me nuts.

I remember hearing so many working class voices on TV when I was younger and now the only time you hear a working class voice is if they're making fun of them or they're the bad guy.

      The working class really has been completely run out of the media in the UK. Probably since you need a degree or whatever now to even get close to a studio

    i miss rose tyler. the first few seasons of doctor who stick out to me as the ONLY time i remember seeing people like myself and my family on tv outside of awful judgy reality shows deeper-sadness

      100%! The BBC used to have a fairly large amount of working-class actors or characters on TV and now it's literally as you said, they're only on TV in modern freak shows. Shows like Porridge or Only Fools and Horses literally wouldn't even get a chance to be pitched now.
