They're not an organic community, they are literally the bourgeoisie answer to ChapoTrapHouse subreddit. A think tank administers the dissemination, and a bunch of white lanyards eat it up as a reactionary anti-communism aesthetic. There's just something about the sanctimonious smugness of neoliberals that pisses me off.
Conservatives revel in the death and misery of those they consider lesser but neoliberals look at human suffering and dare you to argue that this actually isn't a good thing because the GDP rose 1.3% and moved up 10 points on the Freedom Index.
Cons love the death but neolibs seem to argue that it isn't even there.
I think it's related to their view that they have no ideology, unlike everyone else, and that they instead just base their policy on evidence. They believe that not embracing the hegemonic ideology makes you an irrational ideologue.
