      Sorry to be a joykill, but that's a bunch of tabloid BS, no? There's no source, no math? The Wiki note on it is basically that someone once joked about it being bad for Germans... when in reality Tatra produced trucks for the Nazi war machine.

      Germany lost ~4 million soldiers, which might be something like 400k officers. There's zero chance there were that many officer road deaths.

      The US had 30k traffic fatalities per year in the 30s with double the German population and a higher rate of car ownership. So if only officers were being killed by Tatras in Germany, it would still take 27 years to kill more of them than those who died in war.
