Can't admit Tesla sucks and Elon is a grifter because it might open the door to you questioning more about capitalism so you just double down instead and ask for seconds when your teeth get kicked in.

Speaking of opening doors the door on your Tesla might fall off when you open it

Tesla makes great cars and I will die Tweeting about it, as mine spontaneously combusts with me in it.

Terribly inefficient though, with all the conflict resources needed just to dispose of one rich person.

Sorry to be a joykill, but that's a bunch of tabloid BS, no? There's no source, no math? The Wiki note on it is basically that someone once joked about it being bad for Germans... when in reality Tatra produced trucks for the Nazi war machine.

Germany lost ~4 million soldiers, which might be something like 400k officers. There's zero chance there were that many officer road deaths.

The US had 30k traffic fatalities per year in the 30s with double the German population and a higher rate of car ownership. So if only officers were being killed by Tatras in Germany, it would still take 27 years to kill more of them than those who died in war.

Even criticism for something that could have incinerated them has to be couched in effusive praise. Makes my stomach turn.

Wtf is tesla/elon supposed to even do about this? Call your car insurance lmao

regular cars are literally just a big tank of explosives using small explosions to propel you forward, if they can afford a tesla I'm sure they'll be fine

Oh my, I hope nobody based their transportation system around every single person having to operate one of those explosive tanks for a couple of hours everyday, that would be kinda dumb

if only there were some kind of alternative capable of transporting large numbers of people more safely :cap-think:

ah well guess we'll just go with the explosions

Maybe instead of hundreds of motors we could have one big generator, and instead of hundreds of exploding tanks we could have some kind of overhead line.

The og Tesla wanted to distribute electricty for free wirelessly. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Wireless_System

Dont know if ended up being feasible, but itd be dope if commuter trains could run off wireless electrical transmission.
