I have to set aside my Celtics fandem for a minute but kyrie's antics piss off the chuds over at /r/NBA so hard it's funny and the veli of not-racism slips off

Like dude routinely says something avant garde and all of /r/NBA calls him the next Hitler I have nothing but respect when he does that shit he really does what he wants

He also is quite legit about charity work n activism

my fave thing about r/nba is anytime lebron has a take they agree with they say "an athlete shouldn't have to say this for people to agree, it's common sense/science" BUT anytime he has a bad take it always goes back to "well he supported china during the hk protests, hes just looking out for his financial interests"

reddit liberals are the most snake like things man. even lib politicians lack that level of arrogance and audacity.

Sports subs are filled with some of the most vile people on the planet. I do enjoy watching all the highlights on them though.

Kyrie is great. He took a couple weeks off from playing because he could and donated his time during it. And also was the only vocal voice who encouraged the union to stop playing for protests when Obama and LBJ had there phone call.

He came into my server friend’s restaurant and left a $350 tip even though he only got a cheeseburger and side salad. Cool dude.

    Fuck the Celtics though.

in the middle of the season(the day after the chud insurgency), he just abandoned his team. got the entire league thinking he was gonna retire. the day after was at a bday party for his sister. the day after that he was on a zoom call with a bunch of progressive political organizers while his team was in game.

two weeks later he came back as if nothing happened.
