      It's a very VeganCircleJerk type joke, it's not so much meant to convert people as it is to point out the hypocrisy of slaughtering designated "farm animals".

      The posts are very similar to the huge r/peoplefuckingdying subreddit, just look at what the front of r/caninecuisine is: https://www.reddit.com/r/caninecuisine/

      Reddit getting off their asses to immediately ban them makes it funnier when communities like r/butchery and r/bbq exist showing actual "violence" that r/dogdiet was officially banned for. Not to mention of course, all the transphobia, nazism, and racist subs that pervade Reddit.

        Wow this video in context of that subreddit whining about dog diet posts is just unreal.

        The way the person filming zooms the phone in is just horrible. I highly recommend avoiding that link unless you havent seen dominion or earthlings.

          It drives the point home better than anything. I'm amazed there's a sub that hangs up racks of skinned cows and sheep being gunned in the head and that doesn't ping on Reddit's "violence" detectors, but joke posts of dogs in pots does.

          Ah yes, remember that time when a vegan uprising got put down and its leaders executed because the vegetarians worked with the meat eaters?

          Or remember that vegan president of a small nation that got couped (and killed himself as a result) and the resulting dictatorship forced everyone to eat meat or else they'd get thrown out of helicopters?

          Alright. I mean I'm a Vegan and all your posts did was upset me and make me wonder what the ever loving fuck the point was. I'd rather you didn't. But if people get a kick out of it, I'll steer clear of here until theyre gone I guess.

          But I am really not a fan of it, as a tactic or in practise. I don't think it's effective and it upsets me an incredible amount. But I'll let people have their fun. Def not for me though.
