Under the American Rescue Plan Act stimulus legislation, the government will subsidize 100 percent of COBRA premiums for laid off workers and covered relatives, allowing them to stay on their company-sponsored health plan through September 2021.

COBRA is an absolute joke, paying full price for healthcare when at someone is at their most precarious is the kind of end times capitalist solution that just punishes people for no reason.

BUT it is now 100% covered through September. So if you know someone on COBRA let them know so they can get their bimboification appointments scheduled.

    We're doing VA, Medicaid, Medicare, subsidising ACA, and now totally subsidising COBRA. The system is being slowly subsidized but without cutting out the middle men. The only explanation is the healthcare industry funds a lot of campaigns, because our system is a Rube Goldberg machine from a Saw movie.
