ehhh this type of comparison is of limited value. Yes, you need more water to farm nuts than seeds, but it's not like the water is absorbed into the nut and is gone forever. It goes down into the water table to be used again or evaporates.

The real question, in terms of environmental impact, is how much carbon is spewed into the air harvesting, transporting, storing etc.
