To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Twin Peaks. The symbolism is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of occult lore most of the plot arcs will go over a typical viewer's head.
I know you’re doing a bit but my whole point was that you don’t need a high IQ or a grasp of occult lore to understand it, it’s very accessible. It’s a soap opera that aired on a major network, not some avant garde film studies project made with the express purpose of being as inscrutable as possible.
