I didn't know that the bull is killed at the end of a bullfight, I thought the bullfighter just danced around with the bull for a bit

Related interesting fact I just learned: All citrus fruits cultivated by humans are hybrids of just three plants: mandarins, pomelos, and citrons.

One of my favourite camp sides is something i can do on a fire. I know that if i have my smoker running, i have tons of free time.

What i do is peel an onion, place a pat of butter on top with some rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper, then wrap it up in tinfoil and place it on some coals. After about an hour or so, its become this beautiful, smoky, caramelized onion. I do the same with apples, but with cinnamon, sugar, and allspice or nutmeg. Its like a crustless apple pie.

With the onion, i always stab it on the top with a knife to see if its cooked all of the way. Same with the apple, but i core them and poke them through the side with a skewer. Your cooking times may vary, so pay attention. But otherwise, its a lazy and easy way cook with a fire without trying.

I thought strict Jains didn't eat those because it requires completely uprooting and thus killing the plant ? same with potatoes, for example.

Scallops are categorically different from shallots and scallions, but they can be combined well with either
