        Really seems to be the case. I found a way to keep using my preferred app and stuck around out of spite, but I go there less and less because it's swung even harder into fascism than before.

        Even /r/worldnews is run by and full of genocidal racist fascist fucks.

        Reddit has always been terrible, but now almost everyone who's left seem to be avowed fascists, liberals who haven't realized they're indistinguishable fascists, or people with 0 political education whatsoever.

          Is it a shift on Reddit or does it just better capture the current environment in the West?

            Good insight. Definitely the latter. The overall reddit hivemind was always self-decribed free-thinkers who parroted imperialist propaganda -- they reflect and simplify what they're told

        It was bad before but now... It's so hard to find anything good. The comments sections are full of right wing nutjobs and the comments get upvoted to the top. Reddit is now almost the exact opposite of what it was 10 years ago.
