A friend recently made me aware of the fact that Falun Gong-backed Epoch Times is running anti-trans ads on the videos of pro-trans YouTubers, and so I’m trying to dig in and find out more about where their money is made. Also, does anyone know of an easy way to obtain this paper?: https://www.pdcnet.org/jrv/content/jrv_2020_0008_0003_0298_0307?file_type=pdf

I tried all the usual places but couldn't find it either.

If you can find an email for the authors you could likely just ask them for it. Here is the intro to that journal issue: https://www.pdcnet.org/jrv/content/jrv_2020_0008_0003_0213_0220 which can be viewed for free.

I’ve been listening to it all day but I’m still clueless as to where all their money comes from. I suspect :cia: but I’m looking for some kind of evidence of that.

I couldn't find a non-paywall'd version of the paper you linked, but if you follow through the links in this article there's a lot of good resources:

Found these two articles looking through Carl Zha's tweets:

Also, this report has some other interesting info about what BBG (now called USAGM) was funding:
