Actually, the oceans have lots of carbon dissolved in them. That carbonation is eating away at shellfish 😞
The oceans have some carbon dioxide in them, but not enough to make them all fizzy. That is the very definition of flat, whether the shellfish like it or not.
The earth is obviously a sphere. There are many ways to confirm that, from models to direct observation to the new perspectives space flight gave us. Even as early as the age of sail, ship captains relied on the roundness of the earth to navigate with some measure of success.
The sun though? Perfectly flat.
Flat earther on FB told me years ago that all of the other observable planets were obviously round, but the Earth was the only planet that harbored life, so what does that tell you?
