Democracy is when you take IMF usurious loans and funnel it to oligarchs' Panama accounts, and the more loans you take the democracier it is

An independent inquiry is when the US invades your country, runs the judiciary and drops all charges for the coupers.

    detained former officials

TIL that when you stage a coup then start an attempted genocide against your indigenous population, that's when you're a "former official," but if you've just won an election in a landslide you're a "dictator in waiting."

Also, post the link you :LIB:

Are the libs saying that if Trump had a successful coup but got beaten after it they wouldn't throw him in prison for the coup?

That's the thing, the entire "case" against Evo was that he was "illegally" running for another term. But Bolivia's court said it was ok. At which point Amerikkkan schills say "well those were justices loyal to Evo and ones he appointed"... all said without a hint of irony given how the SCOTUS works.

Better one for if they ever actually go after Trump:

We are deeply concerned by growing signs of anti-democratic behavior and politicization of the legal system in the United States of America. The US government should release detained former officials, pending an independent and transparent inquiry into pee pee rights and due poo poo concerns.

They'll never go after Trump. They might resent him for breaking all the unwritten rules and norms of civility but they do not want to establish a precedent for the the powerful having to take responsibility for their crimes.

That takes a lot of nerve coming from the country with the largest prison population in the planet and offshore concentration camps in Guantanamo and God knows where else.
