The most recent data from the National Alliance to End Homelessness puts the number of homeless people at 552,830. There are more than 17 million vacant homes across the U.S., according to the Census Bureau.

Clearly they should issue annual corrections on the off chance that one year the original claim is once again true.
The article claims that a Facebook infographic is false because it isn’t updated with the latest statistics yearly. However, this article is not updated yearly either. By the article’s own standard, the article is false.
