You have to read the article. It's pretty clear what he's talking about. Getting mad at a limited character form of communication for not being a whole article on the matter is silly.
Even his tweet does not say "The Babylon Bee is good" he just said it's more likely to be funny than Colbert which is what his article explains the deeper reasoning behind. I'm not sure what the dunk is.
Trump is funnier than Biden. Oh no I said something positive about Trump. Guess I'm dunked.
Yes that's how language works. "X is funnier than Y and that means it's the end of the world" is not a compliment. "Wow that person is prettier than a pile of dogshit" is not a compliment either.
"The Babylon Bee is funnier than Stephen Colbert and that's a sign of the end-times" is not a compliment unless you're being purposefully obtuse. You have to lop off half the sentence to interpret him as saying he enjoys the BB because it's funny.
I'm not insulting your thread and saying you need to delete it. You don't have to defend the point so hard. The success or correctness of your posts don't determine your self-worth. It's just not a proper dunk.

I read the free version, as I said. His choice entirely what does and doesn't go there. Twitter is not the limiting factor here.

It's pretty simple.
It says that if BB can be funnier than Colbert, it's a sign of the end-times. Which is bad. It's not a favorable light.
"X is funnier than Y" is actually NOT a compliment because he wrapped it up in a bunch of other words, got it

Those aren't even the same lol
The premise of "X is funnier than Y" is implied to be true. Besides, the freaks at BB want the end times, anyway.

Lmao
He could've just said "Colbert isn't funny" but yeah I guess this is cool too.
