    "Huge numbers of small financial mistakes" is a dogwhistle for avocado toast, right?

    To the capitalist, every luxury of the worker seems to be reprehensible, and everything that goes beyond the most abstract need – be it in the realm of passive enjoyment, or a manifestation of activity – seems to him a luxury.

      It’s not even a dog whistle. It’s just a whistle. Heritage Foundation used the number of poor people with modern fridges as an example of how poverty is caused by “poor financial decisions”
