Russia’s Central Bank says that 39% of its foreign currency reserves is now either gold or Yuan.

    Wait, wasn't it higher before?

Also the Central Bank has rolled back the ban on selling currency to individuals on 8th and it seems that the ruble exchange rate has been growing back up, albeit not catastrophically.

Here's the law on Verkhovnaya Rada website: https://itd.rada.gov.ua/billInfo/Bills/Card/39391. First attached document is for the bill itself (though it's a PDF in Ukrainian) and it does say that those liable for military service, as well as people on a bunch of leadership roles must return within 15 days, and next that they have to return within 15 days after the bill becomes law — it's not yet. The sentence proposed for offense is 5 to 10 years.

In Russian-speaking infosphere Roskomnadzor has attacked several western-liberal media outlets, accusing of, apart from fake news about shootings/bombings, calling the special military operation "war". Some people dunk on it by calling it a not-war, or by substituting war for it in all other contexts, e.g. talking about a start of World Special Operation 3 :19::84: . However, you can see that this is the official stance and so official channels, many Putin stans and some simply cautious outlets have complied.

This is narrative slavery at its finest. People are already primed to believe Ukraine good and Russia bad, so they'll believe anything that already fits into that narrative with ease while changing it becomes extremely hard. Combine that with constant appeal to emotion to shut off the brain and atomization so there's not many people one would listen to with respect, and you get a slave that'll willfully spread your agenda while taking pride in doing so for free

WW2 is the only war in popular history where there was a clearly evil side as established by Nuremberg trials. So Putin = evil = Hitler.

Tbh even comparing Ukrainian army or Azov to Nazi is overstatement. What made Nazis terrifying is its economic power, ideological unity and expansionist policies. Holocaust is such an abhorrent war crime because it was high-tech genocide on industrial scale. Meanwhile those Ukrainian cosplayers can't even unify their own country, their economic conditions have been plummeting since the fall of USSR and they suck so much their regions are seceding . That's nowhere near real Nazis. All they have to show is some swastika tattoos and enough atrocities to guarantee the same cauldron in the hell if that exists.

Keeping people in jingoistic haze is a classic bourgeoisie press tactic though? They only need to sell whatever the end result is as a victory or at least the best practically possible outcome some time later.
