Nearly everyone he interviews says Ukrainians are indiscriminately killing civilians.
These are not staged, they are candid interviews with people who are living in a war-zone who are saying things the western media refuses to acknowledge.
I believe his reporting is about as close to truth as you will find right now coming out of this war.

Also is it a good idea to be asking for full names and addresses in an active warzone? At one point a lady even gives him her full whatsap number. I, mean I get its probably in hopes of getting their families to see they are fine, but seems really dangerous. Especially with all the fuckery around Ukrainian forces looking for "Russian saboteurs".

He seems like he's in a little over his head, just happens to be the guy there that happens to be western who has been plunged into this because he feels like he's literally the only person that could do it and be listened to by westerners. His lack of experience and tact very clearly shows often but it is what it is, he's just doing what he can.
Given that he's been in DPR for 8 years he's probably had a pretty clear picture of the western lies going on and feels like he has a very personal responsibility to do something to show they're lying, this does result in him pushing others a bit hard or leading them though I agree.

He will never be safe in a NATO country again after this. Covering the small scale conflict could have been forgivable, but I hope his family isn’t in the “west” anymore.
Patrick videos are probably the closest we get to see the war without it being refined into a hate porn for one of the camps.
