The West is such dog shit. Terminal decline. I try not to think about it too much. Frustrating and depressing.

Really just waiting for the day when a Republican state pulls all the Democrats off the ballot by citing the Communist Control Act of 1954.

If an entire Albanian town could turn out to salute GWB Jr in the early '00s, I have no reason to believe Zelensky won't shamelessly rep the incoming Republican administration in 2025.

i wonder what this person would say if you asked them what this means. like, what policies do they expect to have the chance to vote for here that they think ukrainians would be voting for?

Vote blue no matter who, of course. They’re talking about turnout

Well, there would certainly be policies that Ukrainians would definitely vote for here. But I don't think they're coming from the side this person wants you to vote for.

I'm not registered to vote anymore. It's a big club and I'm not in it, I wish you well though!

Time for a reminder that the last election of the Verkhovna Rada had 1% lower turnout than the 2018 House election, and the last Ukrainian presidential election (where Zelensky won 73% of the votes, close to Putin's recent level of 77%) had 3% lower turnout than Biden's 2020 win.

Do they mean dead, nazis, fleeing their country or sitting at basements hoping to not get shelled?

So, you should be so frustrated by the rampant corruption in your country that you vote for somebody who starred in West Wing or House of Cards and then they enable a bunch of nazis that start shelling Spanish-speaking parts of the country until Mexico invades the US, but everybody in power is kinda fine with all of that because it means Raytheon can sell more weapons? Is that what you're suggesting here, Neera?

Well at least they recognize which government is really the one responsible
