We do. Not depicting the star of david burning is an extremely obvious standard for us.
A true Bajoran revolutionary is guided by a great feeling of love. It is impossible to think of a genuine Bajoran revolutionary lacking this quality

There’s no conflict of interest here, I also fully support not adding a burning star of david emote. It would be an unforced error to do so and we’ve had this policy in place since the site started while still being vocally anti-settler-colonialist.
I agree, I love the little queer punk dive bar we’ve all built for ourselves here out on the fringes of the internet.
I agree and would also like clearer UX when popping out of instance to interact with folx. As far as I’m aware, that’s not a setting that can be be adapted right now. In the future, I’d love to see a bit more of a UX indicator when that occurs as well.
This is all a work in progress. We really believe in what both good federation and Lemmy as a project itself can achieve. Thanks for coming along for that ride, we know dialectical synthesis can be bumpy sometimes.
No, we probably won’t be adding back a community like c/strugglesessions that added stress for marginalized people, but thanks for asking. The folks who tried to volunteer moderating it found it exhausting and understandably resigned from doing that comm. Will discuss internally and update if that changes. /gen
emotes render in the reply notifications now, wonderful!!
Congrats to the dev team & everyone else who put so much effort into getting this over the line! It looks great.
“we love our trans comrades” is official site policy.
@Koa_lala@hexbear.net did incredible work with our previous design, some of which has since even made it into default Lemmy! i miss that customization, I’m also incredibly excited about everything this update brings to the table for our site.
@Dolores - tagging you since user tags in post titles / bodies don’t work
enjoyed her teardown of Vaush, good to see she’s not putting up with him either at least, our campaign made him utterly unlikeable even to libs like Contra.
@spectre not sure if OP is an alt of yours, but tagging you as well.
Hey OP, posts relating to that RPG idea need to be clearly marked at the top of the post as being fictional and include a link back to the original post: https://hexbear.net/post/226706
they should also be posted in !ttrpg@hexbear.net so that people can opt-out of viewing them. As a note, if these rpg sessions include content that violates the site's code of conduct, they will still be removed.
It's a fun idea, just need to make sure everyone understands this is a bit. Please reply to confirm you've seen this.
Come to hexbear, we love emojis here lol
