  • If you're hungry for power, you don't turn down opportunities. You take everything and anything that can give you an edge.

If the Dems have power the left should take what they can. If the right has power, we should take power as much as we can. If we can build dual power, we should do as much as we can.

Spend less time whining and more time building power .

  • We need more optimism and people willing to do something. I at least donate extra cash to a local mutual aid group. I'm trans, I'm lacking in people skills too so I don't bother doing too much in person organizing type stuff because I don't want to risk hurting the cause. But I try to help when possible. It ain't much but it's honest work

We need to teach kids how to organize. People know about general strikes. I've talked to leftists who don't know the first thing about organizing. It should be our expertise like it was in the 40's - 60's. Like we should have pamphlets, Facebook posts, Instagram, TikTok etc that teaches kids how to organize in their community.

  • Military wise the US can not be beat. Occupation and military strength is not the same as winning a war, they are related and can help, but you can still lose after your military has been wiped away. Economics are part of that too. The British held India with it's ability to occupy and it's military. But both require a stewing economy to back it up. That's how Ghandi ended up winning.

  • That won't ever happen with the money and influence and military we have. There's also nobody who would beat the US and make things better.

Russians is a laughing stock and probably would lose to Mexico's drug cartels at their level of power. The Chinese aren't leftists. They have more fucking billionaires than we do.

All of this is just whining because the US left is weak and needs someone else to beat the fash instead of actually organizing. This is cope because the left is in the shitter and it's full of people who circle jerk post more than we organize . If we had a left that was 90% in control of the Democrats we wouldn't be making these memes

  • Art is part of organizing. You wouldn't want Andy Worhol organizing when he would be a far better propagandists for the movement. And an actual left wing movement needs all types of people. It needs accountants and janitors and cooks not just soldiers and general.

"Pitch in however you can" is the slogan of an organizer. I don't organize but I don't a few thousand a year to lefty groups. They need money, they need resources, and they need physical help in equal measures.

The water we use in households for drinking is literally a fraction of the total water 75% is used in farms. 99% of the corn grown is not eaten. 70% is used for feed, and the rest is burned for fuel. Sorghum is grown in Arizona where it eats up water. They literally just farm it to sell it he Saudis so they can have grow beef. All because farmers make pennies on literal tons of food. We will have water rations so the farmers won't be angry.

No. Modern day fascists are actually revolutionary minded by definition. Social Democrats are not revolutionary minded. Even aestheticly. The social aspects in the states are undeniably as important as the material conditions of people. Marx ignored it and couldn't figure out why the US never mad a leftward lurch. There's a social aspect to Marxism that he completely missed which is why Marx is a fun read but is ultimately outdated

Fascists over throw the government. There's a significant difference between an actual revolution or a coup vs just electoralism.

I can't make any comment on if a bourgeois class ever supported a left wing revolution but only because I'm not super well read on global politics or much history.
