But the difference between the rich and the poor is far bigger than it is in most other developed countries.

Somewhere in US. You can see a usps truck ahead of the buses
This is fake. You fell for it 💀
“This was a criminal offense. Now it’s an option for business.”
If corporatism had a slogan
Also the irony that those redditors probably approve of US sanctions against countries like Iraq venezuela etc which result in massive child mortality. Death and destruction but with a friendlier i.e. liberalism
American capitalists: I would never want to live in Soviet housing because it’d be depressing
Also American capitalists: invent housing that literally induces seasonal depression disorder
Not defending Biden and his anti-progressive agenda, but doesn’t this make sense given that VT and MA have Republican governors?
Biden now has 30k lead in wisconsin
He hasn’t started any new wars but the wars currently under his wing have gotten worse e.g. Civilian deaths have jumped over 200% in the ME under Trump, and he has censored further reporting of those deaths. His lack of cooperation with the international community on climate change will ultimately lead to more severe mass migrations and wars. Personally I’m just not seeing a clear-cut answer that Trump is better
For me personally the presidential election served as a gateway get involved in local politics. Like I said, just my personal experience- would be interested to learn how much that's the case for other
Okay, I can understand why you might think the presidential election is a time sink, but do you also think local elections are time sinks? Because when you encourage people to vote for presidential elections, you're also encouraging them to vote in their local elections.
What exactly is the evidence that Biden would be more of an imperialist than Trump? Among other things, drone strikes have grown under Trump, Trump supported the 2003 invasion of Iraq, Trump ok'd an airstrike on an international Iranian airport, Trump has escalated tensions with Iran, Trump wants to end relations with Cuba, his administration tried to coup Maduro. Not to mention that Trump's climate policy is likely to have more irreversible damage to the global south than Biden's. Not saying Biden wouldn't have done some of these things, but what exactly makes you think he would be worse ?
Yes but do you understand how comparatively horrible the U.S. is? Are there people in Sweden, Denmark, and Norway going into lifetimes of medical debt? You really can’t blame people in the U.S. for looking up to countries like Sweden for doing the absolute bare minimum and aspiring for that too
“Broke don” just makes him more relatable tbh
