    >reach grand metropolis as team chaotix

    >have to destroy all 85 of eggmans robots

    >run through the entire stage

    >82/85

    >go through again using that flower that teleports you back to the start

    >kill another robot

    >83/85

    >go through AGAIN (i also collected every ring at this point)

    >still 83/85

    >look up a walkthrough on youtube

    >the comments are full of people saying that the game is bugged and randomly won't spawn the two robots at the very end of the stage

    >try to die and respawn

    >the stage music is no longer playing and was instead replaced by a faint high pitched tone

    >still no robots, of course

    >restart the stage from the pause menu and rebeat it

    >the two robots i need are finally there

    >complete the stage

    >wow i love sonic heroes no-copyright

    is this to do with the debatebro[x]@thelemmy.club accounts? (i am getting more lost the longer this struggle session goes on despite having been lurking the threads since they started, i've literally had to document everything in chronological order on a mediawiki page to wrap my head around it. blob-no-thoughts)
