yeah, I've slowly weaned off of online shit, to the point where I just play destiny by myself and the occasional overwatch qp game, but I mostly just play singleplayer stuff. Games like Life is Strange and Prey have really helped me realize why I love games so much, it's really refreshing to play something that good again without worrying about whether I'll get t worded if I join VC

I was in a similar position but then I discovered I wasn't cis and it was all over. I think I literally discovered the chapo sub through memes getting crossposted to r/traaa, then found the pod, and then found proles of the round table before that blew up

I would def finish it, at least the season finale Lynch comes back and it's very Lynchian. Also Season 3 is FANTASTIC, I'm not done yet but so far it's my favorite season

My main disagreement with the politics of the show is the fact that cops and the FBI are portrayed in an almost entirely positive light tbh, but the one eyed jack's thing is a good point

Yeah no the politics suck shit. I like it more than ATLA because Korra is a much more relatable protagonist to me, and I think the tone of part 3 and 4 is better than ATLA was, but I kinda had to turn the politics part of my brain off so as not to have an aneurysm in literally any scene involving Wu

Also as someone who was vaguely anti-sjw in HS, mostly due to the crowd I hung around with, embracing the kind of games that people who hate her shat on was the best thing I ever did. Like yeah Life is Strange and Depression Quest aren't as fun as like Halo in the moment, but LiS is far and away my favorite game, and made me reflect on myself more than any dumb shooter could've. Not to say shooters are bad, per se, I still have thousands of hours across the destiny games, but I would def recommend those kinds of games to anyone who hasn't broadened their horizons yet.
