The Stalinist Gothic style of architecture is 1000x better than Brutalism. The Moscow State University building is one of the prettiest looking buildings there is IMO

Jimmy Dore is going to skyrocket in popularity in the next few years under Biden. It's just bubblegum pop anger porn that will resonate more and more with people not heavily into politics, and then he'll get censored around 2022.

I'm paranoid there's gonna be some coordinated alt-right Xmas Day Massacre. I saw some Pepe avatars that had a "countdown to xmas" motif, and my imagination tells me there's gonna be one last pop before the end of this sordid year.

As much as we bitch about them, Vaushist Biden-voting anarchists are growing in number and one day will probably outnumber every other tendency except maybe regular democratic socialists

Hoping it fizzled out and dies when Biden takes over. The radlib movement has basically only grown because a lot of people got fed up with the dems for not doing shit about trump. This caused a “””””leftward”””””” exodus towards political ideologies that they felt would combat trump more effectively. Now that Biden is here, this overwhelming white group won’t have anything to worry about and will likely go back to being shitlibs like they were before. We’re also probably gonna see more “reformed” leftists in the future who are gonna brag about how they used to be a communist like you until they listened to reason or some bullshit like that. Or we’ll get stuck with a left made up of 15 year old larpers with picrew avatars who call Marx a tankie, idk.

I honestly wonder what the endgame is with the anarcho-Bidenist movement as time goes by.

Excatly the same as Steve-O from SLC Punk. They'll fuck around with teen rebellion for a while, and then eventually, they'll play in the system and come to the private realization that they were nothing more than trendy ass posers. Every "cool" Gen Xer who had a meltdown over Trump and turned into a full resistance-tard (even if they were some of Bush's most vocal critics) is a preview of the path these guys are taking.

I think the “not reading theory” thing is why the movement is gonna keep growing. Teens aren’t gonna fuckin read Parenti or Lenin or even Marx outside of school, they want to watch Ben Shabipo getting owned on Twitch and Youtube. And the people doing that happen to be the ones most vocally opposed to any sort of statist leftism, and this creates a cursed pipeline of social democrat -> left anti-communist.

Anarcho-Bidenism really is a perfect storm for western leftism right now: an ideological position that is 1) easy to understand since it only requires passive consumption via those pesky smartphones, making it extremely palatable to younger people, and 2) generally appealing to these young people since it’s an ideology that appeals to western liberal values (rejection of historical communist movements) while still being just radical enough that you still get to say stuff like “fuck cops” and feel counter-culture.

In short, I think it’s an easily digestible ideology that offers young new leftists a way to feel radical while maintaining lots of succdem values that they don’t want to lose.

This is also why telling people to "read theory" is so important. If you don't sit down and actually read, you eventually hit a brickwall because you don't have the language or the framework to develop a coherent worldview. You don't have to dig deep into every minutae, but without basic concepts like the Labor Theory of Value or the Tendency of the Rate of Profit to fall, or a basic understanding of say use value vs. exchange value, any "Left" movement just ends up being a charity project. If you don't read something, you inevitably just fall back into being a Capitalist because that's the only way of looking at the world you've ever known.

Golden eye was good because of nostalgia. If they kept making them it would be no different then generic garbage shooter aka COD and shit.

Also between Splinter Cell(the first few were great) and MGS 2-3 do you realy need a subpar movie to game adaptation in that genre anymore?

Basically this is exactly what Goldeneye: Reloaded was. There's also a half dozen other Bond games in between that nobody remembers because they were all pretty generic.

What we really need in the "globetrotting super spy" genre is a game with the writing of Alpha Protocol and the gameplay of Hitman. Social stealthing through exotic locales while navigating an insane plot with a ton of intricacies that can only be revealed by replaying and exploring different choices - it's perfect.
