From what I can tell, which so far is decidedly little, everyone is calling everyone tankies.
We'll just use "tankie" the way most use "man", "woman", or "person".
Examples:
The firetankies put out the fire in the building.
The policetankie arrested that guy for a little weed.
The chairtankie of Lockheed Martin announced record profits.

I think it should be like Smurf where it can be interchanged with any part of a sentence.
