Yo I kinda hate the use of Israel Kamakawiwoʻole as a substitute icon for the apartheid state of Israel, given that used his music to identify the US State of Hawaii as an apartheid state against the native Hawaiian population.
Izzy K was a very cool figure, if u are not familiar with his work u should give him a listen!
Yes, the point is that we don't want an actual :israel-cool: emote because we dont want an emote of the star of david on fire, even if it's only on their shitty flag. but we want an :israel-cool: emote to use in situations like these, so we've got an emote of the only cool israel as a stand-in
Not really true, while it is the case that a huge part of the heavy industry remaining in the US is mostly related to weapons and aerospace, the US doesn't have the industrial capacity to sustain endless conventional warfare. It could sustain forever wars against enemies much weaker in the Bush and Obama years, but I'd be surprised if it can keep giving Ukraine + Israel + Taiwan support against real enemies were hot wars to go on for any length of time in each.

I thought the whole joke was that the emoji is called israel-cool and he was a cool guy called Israel.
It's not a good fit for the apartheid ethnostate, though.

is here now so we don't need as a stand in anymore
This is why
Trying to stay on daddy's good side despite not being the favorite child
Cause this upcoming war will take attention away from Ukraine's inevitable downfall.
It's not a zero sum game. The Military Industrial Complex can build an infinite supply of weapons as long as there are willing buyers.
