How long before they declare anti-Zionism to be homophobic, too?

Seems like that's the implication of any argument framed around how liberal Israel is compared to its neighboring countries. It was the carrot they used before the stick of passing that resolution calling anti Zionism anti semitism

I don't think any of the surrounding countries do apartheid or have miscegenation laws. How liberals can say it's the most progressive country in the region is bonkers. The closest thing I can point to is Saudi Arabia's genocide of Yemenis (Which is backed by America) and Turkey's genocide of Kurds (Turkey is in NATO). Israel is still wildly right wing even in comparison to places like Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, etc.

The “Citizenship and Entry into Israel Law” prohibits Israeli citizens who marry Palestinians from the occupied West Bank or Gaza Strip, or nationals from several other regional states, from living with their spouse in Israel.

“The law affects tens of thousands of Palestinian families on both sides of the Green Line between Israel and the West Bank, preventing Palestinians from legally moving into Israel to join their spouses,” according to Adalah, an advocacy group that has mounted unsuccessful court challenges to the law.
