Just seconding that if you want to keep your length you should find a salon or hairstylist instead of a barber. I’ve had multiple bad experiences with barbers just being incapable of not cutting my hair short

Also, if you’re worried about outing yourself I went to hairdressers for years before transitioning and no-one said anything
