haha what the fuck really that's so rad can I have a copy, I did not know this existed before right nowwwwwwww
look out on the interwebs! she told the audience that she would put a scan out there when she could. i wish i had gotten a copy, but it sold out before i could purchase one
You could BUY THEM?! This is the punishment I get for not stalking her ig...
it was like this one event! they sold while we were in line to get one!
IT'S SO OVER
also wow I would murder to go see Binnie like, read poetry, do stuff. Super fucking awesome.
she lives in VT these days, i live under a rock and am on no other social media than the bear. i only knew about this and got lucky cause a friend brought me along. she might do another short poetry reading tour on the east coast and canada sometime soon? keep and eye out!
CANADA what happens if she actually comes through and I go and see and spill ALL my spaghetti? This is not a normal reality.
She's trans, I am sure it isn't her first rodeo meeting her cabal after writing the orange book. plus, if maria is at all a self insert of the author, which i think she is after hearing her speak, then she would probably love the autistic transfem in the audience losing their shit.
Maria Griffiths works exactly the same bookstore job that Imogen Binnie did at the same timeframe, their lives are verrrry similar at least. Also though...
Nah that's super fucked up not a chance. I've come dangerously close to brushing shoulders with authors of this stuff online before, and it feels like at once I have all the questions in the world and cannot think of anything to ask. Also like, who gave me the authority to grill people for interviews? I could not be remotely normal. Best I could manage is like
"Hello ma'am thank you for giving me my entire personality for life when I was a kid, really a clutch move" ?
