That last ant mimic, i've actually seen it before, it mimic the giant leaf cutter ant behaviour so well it's hard to distinguish. Interesting creature!
Each bug as weird and wonderful as the last. Awesome. What's the top one? (Post image, spoon shaped black helmet cicada?)
kinda looks like a scorpion mimic helmet thing, but still couldn't find anything about it

I always appreciate spider posts. These are great. I bought a textbook on spider ethology and the whole thing was fascinating. Jumping spiders are on a whole new level, some disguised as leaf litter, walking without rhythm as to trick orb weavers and their terrible eyesight.
