Edit - To give some personal context, I was thinking about the thread the other day where Snyder fans claimed that good movies are 4 hours long and then I saw this picture. Throw in the crap like baby yoda knockoffs and expanded universes and it's all so bad.

Suicide Squad baffled me, because its like other people see a completely different movie.

Like who was guy with the grappling hook who the Australian convinced to test the bomb implants? I think that's the first time we see him.

They had to have filmed it with a completely different story in mind, then recut it at the last minute.

from what I remember I think that's what happened, they gave the film to the people who made the trailer for editing and reshoots

Literally just an uncreative way to set the stakes for the rest of the squad.

Suicide Squad was good in a turn your brain off kinda way. Helps if you actually like comic book movies in general.

Passengers was alright. And there's an unofficial "rearranged" version that makes it a different movie. It starts with the woman waking up to find Crisp Rat alone. In that context Rat seems more like a creep.

Passengers was a netflix and chill not even really watching the movie kinda thing for many people if I am not mistaken.
