    I loved him, and discovered when he released Bowling for Columbine. I think that one really stuck a nerve nationally, and it brought him to spotlight. After that, he was very respected in liberal circles. I thought so, anyways. I never fully understood how his reputation sort of fizzled. I'm guessing his films that were more directly anti-establishment resulted in less and worse press from the corporate media.
