The new cap ended episode 4 beheading a surrendering "terrorist" enemy combatant Anarchist because their leader killed his black friend (who also happened to moonlight as his goddamn conscience). Pop culture discourse in America is truly cursed lmao.
Marvel had people cheering for the guy who wiped out half of all life in the universe for some stupid reason
At least in the comics you were supposed to understand that Thanos was an incel who was simping hard to fuck the anthropological representative of Death and therefore was worthy of scorn and derision
anthropomorphic, just a minor correction. But yeah they made Thanos into such as "compelling" character. Nobody ever asked "why not make the universe twice as big, or three times as big?"
they gave Thanos a magic globe that could do anything, with no limits, and just made him an eco-fascist even tho the Magic globe makes his ideology obsolete (just wish for infinite resourses)
at least incel Thanos in the comics with the globe could do anything but even then lady death wouldnt fuck him
a decision between [finite resources with genocide] or [infinite resources no genocide]?
genocide it is!
:eco-porky:
Disney media fans defending a fascist is normal at this point (look at all the galactic empire defenders), maybe is because the US is a Fascist state and they resonate with that idk
From the creators of "the British CIA guy helps the black panther!!!" we now present "anarchists murder the good blacks, who hate anarchists".
The CIA was LITERALLY buying weapons from your arch-nemesis, Black Panther. He was FUNDING A SUPERVILLAIN and you invited him onto the team.
Gonna be honest, when I saw the US military two minutes into the first episode I noped out of there (I'm assuming you're talking about the falcon and winter soldier show). This was obviously going to be nothing more than a propaganda piece, and surprise surprise, it was. Reading an MCU wiki page on John Walker, I found a section mentioning he regretted some of the cruel actions he committed in Afghanistan but of course, let me guess (and I'm taking this guess without having even watched it): he didn't mean cruelty against civilians, he meant cruelty against enemy troops, or implied it (because if they don't mention civilians specifically, they expect you to infer it was against enemy troops (oh wait, I forgot, we're not supposed to call them troops, we're supposed to call them 'combatants')).
And this execution he committed, was it on foreign soil by any chance? I'm going to guess he did it in someone else's country.
It wouldn't be okay to take the law into your own hands here, but it's especially unacceptable to do so in someone else's country.
Pls stop killing anarchists every five seconds challenge
but the anarchists are BIG meanies 😥, and Fascist cap didnt meant to commit that war crime, give people a second chance, so much for the tolerant left
That Taliban guy from California?

So captain america is just a cop now...I feel like that’s a good thing. Helps people see how fucking unhinged law enforcement types are.
Yeah literally they think he needs to act like war criminals, not petty thugs like cops
Morality in fiction is different from morality IRL. I'd argue that something that would be a war crime IRL may not be bad in fiction because, for example, we as the audience can know for a fact that someone is both guilty and irredemable.
The negative real world impact of the fiction in terms of its influence on people's perceptions or ideology is a separate matter, and I accept arguments that it is bad on that front.
ah. yeah, that's dumb then. I don't watch the media in question here, so I didn't know.
That's just your opinion! People need to stop stating opinions as fact, and let others enjoy things!
I love it, it has good acting and cinematography and action.
