I'm kinda hopeful singleplayer is on par with rdr2, if that's anything to go by then it will be considerably improved over 5 and honestly 5 is still a better singleplayer game than 99.9% of new AAA releases today.

I don't know how that level of tedium would be accomplished short of needing to refill gas manually and fix your own tire pressure.

Steal a new car whenever you are low on gas or tire pressure? Seems like just as much of a nuisance as refilling, given that if you're in a nice vehicle, the available options are likely to be worse, and it presents a major liability if you are in a chase or something, but yes, that would be another option. Have fun going from a modded race car to a hatchback because you ran out of wiper fluid and now the screen is all blurry from the rain.

Yeah, because Rockstar needs you to purchase cars in their game titled "Grand Theft Auto" because it provides an incentive for microtransactions. It's wild that the devs basically positioned themselves as car dealers in a game that's supposed to be about stealing cars, and it's not even a black market, it's literally just the company websites! It's the most ancapistan shit ever published.

At least in 4, single and multiplayer DLC were part of the same expansion and the multiplayer was essentially a function of the singleplayer
