Greeks with beards a million years ago: Debates are conversations designed to bring both parties closer to the truth.

Now: You fucking tankie shut the fuck up, holy shit you're stupid and advocate for genocide. You fucking tankie bitch, fuck you. Red fash. Gosh, there's a lot of mentally ill LGBT people out there, mainly those who disagree with me.

If you are a trans woman and you change your voice at any point during a debate, not only is that emotional abuse tactics to manipulate the viewers, you yourself is now a confirmed abuser and a horrible person(this is unironically something him and his fanbase did just recently).

He had a debate with ChaosIsMel, a Korean trans woman where among other things he did the usual "U deny genocide you fucking fascist" schtick as well as "joking" about how "we(the american empire) dabbed on North Korea(genocided 20% of the population", and then also basically afterwards commented that her changing inflection at points in the debate was a manipulative and abuser tactic cause some of his fans started agreeing with her and that cant be true cause vaush is the epitomy of facts and logic.

Yikes. I'd seen the "they got dabbed on" comment but I didn't see that other part.

"What if Ben Shapiro but he wanted socialised healthcare?" is a good bit.

It was incredibly disturbing, Vaush fans were making posts about abuse by family members or ex's and projecting that onto Mel for again, supposedly having manipulated her voice in a debate to get people over to her side, which is the mildest fucking tactic you could have in a debate bro setting like holy shit.

Weaponising abuse terminology is genuinely one of the things I've seen online that actually makes my blood boil. It's almost always done to make the victim look like the "real" abuser too.

Doubly so when it involves trans people just because of the common framing of their existence somehow being an invasion of women's spaces, or somehow "teaming up" with men to avoid abuse. Their very existence is treated as a form of abuse.

Damn, someone's voice changed when someone callously mocks their country being destroyed. What an abuser.
