Kamala Harris was polling behind Andrew Yang in California!

It's funny, because I know a few Chinese-American voters who were incredibly excited to have an Asian-American on the ballot.

I knew exactly nobody excited by Harris. Bloomberg had more appeal.

The United States has absolutely mastered the art of propaganda. This is a country where congress is regularly sitting at single digit approval rates, and yet when you ask people about their own congress person, they’ll tell you they’re doing a great job.

That's far more a consequence of partisanship and posturing than propaganda. I know next to nothing about other people's reps. I know some stuff about my own rep. Dan Crenshaw preens like a fucking peacock at every chance he gets. His district is literally and deliberately packed with Republicans. So all he really has to do is showboat, pander to the right corporate interests, and clean up during election season.

If you ask people in TX-2 what they think of "Congress", they bitch and moan about how Other People's Congressmen aren't Dan Crenshaw. That's what drives the dichotomy.
