    Saying what happened is bad actually. Sorry, even if the police killed someone who you think deserved it, the police still killed someone, that's how language and reality works!

    "kill" is a value neutral description. Euphemisms get used because the media wanted to avoid value neutral descriptions to please the police.

    The police didn't kill him, he passed away receiving care from injuries discovered after an officer-related shooting. Totally different thing!

    If we must have a Guantanamo Bay, I want Matthew Yglesias to be locked in the darkest cell. Every day he gets one hour of sunlight. It's spent in a cage with a literal Foucault's boomerang being thrown at him. If he's knocked unconscious, a laugh track plays until he picks himself back up and continues to dodge for the full hour. He is then led back to the darkest cell and forgotten about until the following day.
