It really suck that the only left party in germany has such a reactionary as an influentian member in the party, hopefully she gets purge from the party

Wagenknecht was once on the left wing of Die LINKE’s predecessor, the Party of Democratic Socialism (PDS), which was the legal successor to the Stalinist party that had ruled East Germany before reunification

    god damn :stalin-bummed:

People are announcing their resignation from Die LINKE (the Left Party), which just nominated Wagenknecht to be its lead candidate in the state of North-Rhine Westphalia.

Goddammit, my understanding was that Die Linke was pretty good, too.

They often are, they even bullied Wagenknecht out of the party leadership because of her stupidpol anti-immigration views. Now she's getting the first place on the list in my state, fuck fuck fuck. Not gonna vote for this nazbol lite.

Yeah. A lot of stupidpol personalities are anti-woke succdems. Their usual take is that whatever succdemory they want is just in the reach if only problems of minorities weren't distancing the gentle hardhat-wearing worker form the real class consciousness.

It's obvious for anyone to the left of succdems that there are no material circumstances for real leftward change in the first world right now, so throwing some minority under the buss to get some reactionaries to your side would not only be unethical, but also impractical.

Well not really. She was longterm and definetly most famous member of the "Kommunistische Platform" (most far-left internal faction of Die Linke) and she was a founding member of the "Antikapitalistische Linke"

I remember a few years ago she was the partner of former SPD Oskar Lafontaine, and she was much more left than him. So yeah she was definitely far left, but her rightist turn seemed to have happened with the migrant issue.
