Reality aside imagine how funny it would be to have two Communist Party of Cuba members in the Senate blasting all of the neolibs every day.

If Ireland were to become a US state, it would be a solid-R Republican because they have an entire Irish Republican Army dedicated to whipping votes and winning elections.

However, if North Korea were to become a US state, it would vote Democrat because it is the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.

Yeah but it's Democratic People's REPUBLIC so basically it would be a toss up.

Stuff like this begins with the premise that the people of Cuba are living under a brutal government that oppresses them, not a fairly popular government whose officials are mostly democratically elected. It assumes that the people there hate it.

It reminds of when Fidel Castro died and my sociology teacher said that the fact that gusanos in Florida were celebrating meant that he was an evil and hated man.

It's really telling that his takeaway from the response to his comment is that it's unpopular, as if the issue isn't that he's wrong, just that people don't agree with him. These morons don't realize that you can actually answer these questions. I get the impression that people like him think that the world is just everyone spouting conjecture, and expertise is just a factor of how many opinions you publish.

The foundation of centrist thought is that the truth is always somewhere between the bad faith statements made by rightwingers and the ignorant statements made liberals.

If my cock was 30cm long, would I keep it to the right or to the left? Judged by the side of the road the cars drive in I think I would keep it to the right.

This made my day, it's like the idea in the first place and then the conclusion is as if it's intentionally misinformed

if my grandmother had two wheels she'd be a skateboard

Understanding all of politics through US election punditry is worse than understanding it through Harry Potter
