Got this ad while using my running app. I can't wait for daddy Musk to invent Breathecoin so I can monetize my breathing :doomjak:
So what is this? Just mining software that runs on your phone and only kicks back something while you're walking?
I think it's gathering your location data 24/7 to resell. Could be both tho

What Defines a Scam
A scam isn’t always a system in which the scammer is the only beneficiary, while the person being scammed gets nothing. While those scams are the most well known, they’re also the most likely to be shut down for being predatory.
The scams that stick around are the ones that give the victim just enough to keep them around and happy, while finding the most efficient path to the motherlode. These scams only work because all too often we have no idea what we’re worth. Scammers find a need, then find other people who’ll fill that need while both sides direct all the money back to them.

Excuse me sweaty that's completely wrong. They're selling the data to adtech companies, and they sell it to the DoD.
5-25 cents per 1000 steps, delivered in coupons only- you have to buy something first and offers are specific. 4 offers per day. includes paypal vouchers
average stride is 2.2 feet. 15-75 cents per mile
kind of a shitty deal unless somebody is paying to feed you and you like to flip random crap. scam? pretty much almost
ive tried a few like this, some where you play phone games to get rewards. thing is you get so little per time or effort. These apps that use location services also drain your battery so it really sucks. i do this survey thing which i've spent a few hours on and i have ~15 in usd for giftcards so that's ok and the surveys can be fun, something to do while commuting
only in sweden unfortunately, idk of any others. i've heard google opinion awards is shit and only gives google play credit
Aww dang, I've been using google opinions and basically never use the credit, it really shit
