This shit will stick around in our countries in the global south for another year... maybe even more, it will cause tremendous damage. And of course, those wealthier countries will exploit this... as we have seen Pfizer literally asking South American countries for NATURAL RESOURCES in exchange of vaccines.

I just can't take this shit anymore.

They also asked for land to build US military bases in Africa.

Asked for indemnity clauses in South Africa and sovereign property in South America

      Edit:

The government has made down-payments in its deals with both Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson that are not refundable under any circumstance. “This is another onerous term that we had to concede as manufacturers were not prepared for it to be removed,” Mkhize wrote.

Oh, that's why they just stopped doing the J&J vaccine...

as we have seen Pfizer literally asking South American countries for NATURAL RESOURCES in exchange of vaccines.

That's not exactly what they did. They wanted the government to put up sovereign assets etc as a guarantee they will be protected from lawsuits. It's nasty but they're not asking to be given said assets in exchange for vaccines.

India’s military has disrupted its own efforts by being incompetent.

Support for the Naxalites where they operate is huge, only something like 20% of the people in the area don’t actively support them. There’s a reason they haven’t just disappeared
