      There's a stark difference between ML(M)s and Maoists. The former are socialists that uphold the contributions to the socialist project by MZT while also critiquing his mistakes as ideological dead-ends, whereas the latter dogmatically uphold the Gonzaloite shining path interpretation of MZT - including making every mistake he had done their goal.

      Easy comparison is look up a ML(M) group and compare their work to those of the American Red Guards like the infamous Austin RG.

        Ironically, Mao would probably have hunted down modern Maoists. And Stalin would probably have at the very least ignored or purged anyone who considers themselves a "Stalinist".
