There are no forces pulling her left. She is not dependant on the active support of the working class to keep her seat. There are no rank and file party members that can recall her, or who have to select her as the candidate. There is no viable leftist competitor on the ballot. As long as someone doesn't mount a successful primary campaign against her, she is safe in her seat.
On the other hand the entire democratic party, the bourgeois media and the elevated position of being a member of Congress itself pulls her to the right.
