DSA failchildren: "my soulless suburban boomer parents aren't fascist, they're good people without any hate in their heart"

Why would a labor aristocrat say this? Very weird for their material class interests to be this way!

Whaddya mean "punch left" the only thing the DSA is left of is the DNC, and that's questionable at best.

If you concider calling out the DSA for doing radlib shit because it's a radlib organization "punching left" then I have some bad news for you - You're in the same bed with Vaushkyites.

Making up a DSA strawman isn't "calling out" anyone it's just making a strawman.

Like this isn't even a useful struggle session. Its just pathetic slander.

Don't need a strawman when it is fact that the DSA is not an independent working class party, a revolutionary organization, and structurally supports the American state as a literal radical liberal wing of the democrat party,

Miss me with your lib shit

Ripping on the DSA because it's not an armed revolutionary vanguard is ridiculous. Setting aside the fact that an actual shooting revolution is at least as unlikely as accomplishing significant change through elections, the DSA is an effective radicalization and propaganda tool. That's needed regardless of how you think socialism might be achieved.

If calling you libs out to stop doing libshit like joining the democratic party makes me a weak-ass troll, then that speaks volumes of your character as a "leftist"

You being a weak ass troll is because you keep shifting your criticism of the dsa from being tea party apologetics to having some members in the dem party while ignoring all the labor organizing, tenant organizing, or direct action its chapters do. You have clearly expressed no intention of either educating or learning from your agitation.

It speaks volumes that I never encounter your attitude when I work with IWW or SAlt members irl.

Having tea party parents doesn’t make dsa members radlib though :meow-bug:

I think it is saying DSA members have Tea Party parents?

Although I'm not sure what the other paragraph is about.

Blaming the DSA for the Tea Party is like blaming Rosa Luxemburg for the Nazis.

This tier of discourse is reserved for the reactionary neoliberal corners of :reddit-logo:

If the OP doesn't include examples of people saying something it's a pretty good indicator that nobody is really saying it

Even if they do, there are 4.6 billion people with an internet connection.

A single nuclear grade shit take with like, 600 views total, while often very funny, is in no way indicative of a larger trend that needs to be seriously dealt with or responded to.

Weird to assume that DSA people are the kids of tea partiers, but the petit bourgeois character of the tea party movement is definitely true.

All of those people were either in attendance or cheering on the anti-lockdown stuff, though. The pandemic measures threatening their economic circumstances and putting them at risk of proletarianization has made the already reactionary class even more nakedly fascist.

Nah, it was genuine petit bourgeoisie, for the lack of the better word, class conflict, like if you really read through what they say (people, not their leaders) they were incredibly disaffected with banking crisis and lack of help from government, they hate corporations with passion, like really read what people say, not what they vote. Of course, it’s usurpation towards reactionary koch and big national bourgeoisie makes them same dupes for fascism, but not ah, aware ones, I guess
